RULES & REGULATIONS : -

 

 

GENERAL RULES : - 

 

1. In a single innings, each of the bowlers can bowl a maximum of only one-fifth of the total overs i.e. 4 overs in a total of 20 overs.

 

2. If either of the umpires believes that a team is wasting time, he can award a five-run penalty, at his own discretion.

 

3. The interval lasts for 10 minutes. However, it can be cut to 5 minutes under special circumstances.

 

4. If, and only if, each of the two teams has faced (or had the opportunity to face) five overs, will be a match deemed to have played.

 

5. In case of rain in any match if five overs of first innings are not bowled then that match will be played again and the venue will be selected by the availability.

 

6. Teams are requested to wear whites at the time of matches.

 

7. The matches will be played with red ball.

 

 

FIELD RESTRICTION : - 

 

1. At the most, five fielders can be on the leg side, at any given point of time.

 

2. In the first six overs of a game, there cannot be more than two fielders outside the 30-yard circle.

 

3. There can be a maximum of five fielders outside the fielding circle, after the first six overs end.

 

4. The fielding team has to start bowling its 20th over within 80 minutes.

 

 

TIE DECIDER : -

 

There cannot be a tie in a CCL game. If, and when, there is a tie by the end of a match, it is broken with a one over per side – (Eliminator or Super Over). Each of the two teams nominates three batsmen and one bowler, to play a one-over per side, which can be termed as mini-match. If a team loses two wickets before the over is complete, it loses the game. If this does not happen, the team with the higher score from its over wins it. In case there is a tie after the mini-match as well, the team that has higher number of sixes in its full innings, or in the mini-match, will be declared the winner. If, by any chance, there is still a tie, the winning team is the one with the higher number of fours in both innings.

 

League cum Knockout : - 

 

1. There will be 4 pools of four team each.

2. 8 teams will enter in a knock out round i.e. two team from each pool.

 

 

Disciplinary and Other Rules : - 

 

1. A player can only play for one team.

 

2. Nobody is allowed to switch a team or add any player after the player registration deadline.

 

3. If any team likes to replace the player permanent, they need to put the request to.

 

4. The team captain is entirely responsible to make sure that their players fully understand tournament rules and regulations

 

5. Third party employees, trainees, investors and free lancers are allowed to represent the company.

 

6. Team captain will be responsible for the conduct of their players. Teams and spectators shall abide by the tournament rules and regulations.

 

7.The tournament staff are not responsible for any personal items that are left behind, lost or stolen.

 

8. Should any team, player(s) or coach be disqualified from CCL, there will be no refunds.

 

9. Management has the right to alter rules, bylaws and bracket structure as needed.

 

10. Fighting is an attempt to strike an opponent with the arms, hands, legs, feet or a combative action by one or more players, a coach or other team personnel. Any member or team personnel who participate in a fight shall be immediately suspended from the CCL. Any unwanted practice by any team shall be held under the jurisdiction.

 

11. This is a Drug and Alcohol Free Event. No alcoholic beverages or drugs are allowed on the premises. Any coach or player(s) engaged in the use of alcohol or drugs will be disqualified from further participation in the tournament.

 

12. Teams acting against the standing rules and or against the common interests of the CCL can be suspended by Management executives.

 

13. On the ground, umpires and authorized person from Management will take decision in favor of the game and it will be considered as final decision.
